1998 - the Company attained ISO 9002 certification for achieving the highest quality standards.
In 2000 the Company implemented an Environmental Management System in accordance with the requirements of ISO 14001. The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Lithuania and Quality Board awarded the Company a National Quality Prize.
2003 - the Quality management system was improved and recertified according to the ISO 9001:2000.
The year of 2004 is exclusive for event, when calcium-ammonium nitrate (CAN) was recognized as a unique and special product by Kaunas Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts. Therefore AB "Achema" was awarded the diploma for efficient utilization of natural resources in the nomination of The Most Environment-Friendly Process (manufacturing) by Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists.
2005 Liquid compound fertilizers "Gabija" became a laureate in the Lithuanian University's of Agriculture exhibition "What you sow...2005". AB "Achema" was awarded the "Prize for Innovations 2005" by Lithuanian Confederation's of Industrialists for the first Lithuanian nitrogen fertilizers containing sulphur. Nitrogen fertilizers containing sulphur became the laureate in the Lithuanian University's of Agriculture exhibition „Lithuanian Agropanorama 2005". The Company became the winner in the Lithuanian Confederation's of Industrialists competition "Successfully operating company 2005".
In 2006 UAN-32 (urea ammonium nitrate solution) became a laureate in the Lithuanian University's of Agriculture exhibition "What you sow...2006", as well as liquid compound fertilizers "Gabija" for pelargonium and begonias became a laureate in the Lithuanian University's of Agriculture exhibition "Lithuanian Agropanorama 2006". The Company became the winner in the Lithuanian Confederation's of Industrialists competition "Successfully operating company 2006". Nitrogen fertilizers containing sulphur has won the golden medal in the Lithuanian Confederation's of Industrialists competition "Lithuanian product of the Year 2006". AB "Achema" was awarded the "Prize for Innovations 2006" by Lithuanian Innovation's Centre and Lithuanian Confederation's of Industrialists in the category Innovative Company. For the sixth consecutive year AB "Achema" is the winner of the competition "Lithuanian Exporter of the Year".
In 2007 Urea solution "AdBlue" has won the silver medal in the Lithuanian Confederation's of Industrialists competition "Lithuanian product of the Year 2007".
In 2008 fertilizers "Veja-moss eliminator" became a laureate in the Lithuanian University's of Agriculture exhibition "What you sow...2008".
On the 18th of December 2008 AB "Achema" was awarded with the silver medal in the Lithuanian Confederation's of Industrialists competition "Lithuanian product of the Year 2008" for the urea formaldehyde resin modified with melamine. The company also won the prize in the competition "Successfully working company".
In 2009 - Lithuanian Confederation's of Industrialists award "Lithuanian Exporter of the Year 2008".
In 2010 new product of Achema subsidiary Gaschema - Packing gas mixture NC30" - has won gold medal in the Lithuanian Confederation's of Industrialists competition "Lithuanian product of the Year 2009".
In 2011 Achema was the first in a list of most valuable Lithuanian companies published by an influential national weekly magazine "Veidas". Companies were ranked according to generated additional value to consumers and the country.
In 2011 - Lithuanian Confederation's of Industrialists award "Lithuanian Exporter of the Year 2010".
In 2012 - Lithuanian Confederation's of Industrialists award "Lithuanian Exporter of the Year 2011".
In 2012 - National Responsible Business Award "Employer of the year 2011".
In 2013 - Lithuanian Confederation's of Industrialists award "Lithuanian Exporter of the Year 2012".
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION ACHIEVEMENTS
Every year AB "Achema" takes active part in the contest "Environmental Protection Achievements" organized by Lithuanian Ministry of Environment, Engineering Ecology Association, Environment Management and Audit Institute and Confederation of Lithuanian Industrialists. Company's nominations:

2001 - for new coagulant BAST (base aluminium sulphate solution).
2004 - for effective natural resource consumption (nitric acid units No 1-6 renovation by implementing new waste gas cleaning technology).
2005 - for effective natural resource consumption (application of base condensate from ammonium nitrate production process for nitric acid production).
2007 - for effective resource consumption and environmental impact reduction within whole product life cycle ("AdBlue", 32.5 % urea solution for nitrogen oxide emission reduction in diesel engine exhauste systems with SCR cleaning systems).
2008 - for contemporary product (nitrogen fertilizer with natural minerals), regarding environmental issues.
March 19, 2009 - at the National Responsible Business Awards ceremony organized by Lithuanian Academy of Sciences, among the main Lithuanian industry companies, AB "Achema" was acknowledged Environmental Company of the Year. With this award were recognized AB "Achema" efforts to reduce impact on environment, constant attention to energy saving, responsible attitude towards business environment.
In 2012 - Achema wins Green Company of the Year 2011 award.
June 5, 2013 - winner of "Environmental Protection Achievements 2012" nomination "Most Environment Friendly Process" for greenhouse gas emission (N2O) mitigation in the nitric acid manufacturing process.
