Business community's recognition of Achema SC
On December 18 Achema SC won two prestigious awards of the business community - silver medal in nomination "Lithuanian Product of the Year 2008" and the title "Successful enterprise".
Lithuanian President Valdas Adamkus and the Lithuanian Industrialists Confederation president Dr. Bronislovas Lubys honoured 110 competitors with 79 gold and 31 silver medals, among them - Achema SC, in nomination "Lithuanian Product of the Year 2008".
Achema SC Director General Jonas Sirvydis notes, that modified melamine urea formaldehyde resin (UFR) ½ E1 awarded a silver medal is a promising product and contributes to the basic goal of this competition - to increase competitiveness of high quality Lithuanian products and country's business development.
The award of "Successful enterprise" was given for the best results in annual volume of production and service, profitability, investment in production, exports, productivity and other indicators. Achema SC won among 40 Lithuanian companies.
In 2008 Achema SC was awarded in the competition "Environmental Achievement" for the environmentally responsible product, aknowledged as Lithuanian Exporter of the Year 2007 and also got an award for innovative product.
