Achema SC „Employees’ protection and healthcare management system“ is implemented successfully
On the 27 of January, 2009 in Achema SC was traditionally organized Safety and Health at Work Conference on a quarterly basis, during which the company's executives and experts discussed the work done in key social areas in 2008 and set the guidelines for the year 2009.
„The most objective and definitive recognition in the field of this activity in 2008 - re-certified BS OHSAS 18001:2007 document, which shall come into force in the beginning at this year - says Mr. Povilas Reinotas, Achema SC Technical Deputy Director - Head of Safety at Work.
Achema SC - the first of all concern „Achema Group" owned companies, has implemented this system.
During the conference, the production and labor discipline during 2008 were analyzed. The company's employee's health protection and prevention, safety situation in 2008 were discussed as well.
The Conference approved the Achema SC employees' protection and healthcare program in 2009, prepared according to the structural departments of the priority problems.
