MARKET NOVICE GABIJA for blooming flowers - 2005 PRODUCT OF THE YEAR
The "Lithuanian Product of the Year" Competition, having established itself as a tradition, is still gaining momentum: this year, 65 Lithuanian industrial companies with their 114 products and services have entered. 59 gold and 14 silver medals were awarded to companies of the country. In the group of chemical companies, the liquid compound fertilizer Gabija for blooming flowers won a silver medal. This is a notable achievement and an affirmation of the new Achema's product.
Increasing competitive potential of premium Lithuanian products in the market motivates industrial companies to develop their technologies, enhance product quality, improve their image and offer the consumer products, ranked as best. These products or services were entered in the "Lithuanian Product of the Year 2005" competition (taking place for the ninth time). Achema have participated previously, this being their eighth competition in as many years, have always been honored, these honors (acknowledgments) include 3 gold and 4 silver awards. This year's gold winner, liquid fertilizer Gabija very rapidly received recognition among the flower growers: Gabija's nine month sales exceeded its 2004 sales by almost 6 percent across the range of all 8 types of small pre-packed fertilizers.
