The chain of handling and logistics is one of the core advantages of AB "Achema" and its gateway to the global markets as well.

Safe, reliable, efficient logistics is one of the key components in fertilizer trade chain.

The Company exports major part of its products by rail, mostly to the ice-free Klaipėda seaport located 290 km west of Jonava. Here products are loaded onto cargo vessels and shipped to foreign ports. An important role in this logistic chain is played by companies of the Concern "Achema Group":

• AB "Klasco", reloading the Company's products for export via Klaipėda seaport. AB "Klasco" terminals can handle dry cargo vessels up to 60 - 65 thousand tons with gauge not exceeding 12.5 meters. AB "Klasco" has terminals for liquid fertilizers with the capacity of 90 thousand tons and for bulk fertilizers of 120 thousand tons, also grounds and warehouses for storage of 20 thousand tons of pre-packed fertilizers.
• In 2005 the terminal with capacity of 30 thousand tons for liquid fertilizers was launched in Lübeck (Germany). It can reload 150 thousand tons of liquid fertilizers annually.
• In Gent (Belgium), the terminal "Fertigent" with capacity of 30 thousand tons for liquid fertilizers, that commenced operation at the end of 2006. Convenient geographical location of Gent enables AB "Achema" products reach North East France and North West Germany in vehicle tanks, by rail and in barges.
• UAB "Transachema", transporting cargo by rail, providing expedition services and having and having rolling-stock fleet servicing the product sales (semi-wagons, hoppers, tanks).
• UAB "Euroga", providing transport expedition, freight, agent services and consultations on shipment issues.
• UAB "Achempak", manufacturing soft polypropylene big bags for fertilizers, grain, chemical and other bulk products packing, as well as big bags for food packing, transport and storage.
