AB "Achema" has a staff complement about 1600 employees with a diversity of professional backgrounds. One third of the personnel have career experience for 15 years and more. They are the most valuable treasure of Company's knowledge and know-how.

The Company's results, success and achievements are based on its professional, inventive and continuously improving staff. Every year young specialists, who are offered a special training program in the Company, join the tuned team.

The entire staff complement participates in training and qualification upgrade process: the Company organizes internal trainings and provides the possibilities of experience development abroad. In 2008 Company allocated about 0.6 million EUR for personnel training and qualification upgrade. Training of every employee takes at least 40 hours every year.

The Company also supports students, including workers, extending their studies. The company pays for their studies, provides grants, accepts for practice, commits to employ them, supplies with material for diploma projects and encourages involving them into novelties.

Every two years the Company signs a collective labour contract and has developed longstanding traditions of constructive cooperation between the trade union and Company's administration.

Team spirit is also demonstrated during the traditionally organized festivals of Chemistry workers and Company Veteran Days; Company's Veterans and Sport Fan clubs are functioning.
